Roses are the symbolic flower of Venus and they represent love and beauty. Thousands of years ago, they were used in ceremonies, offerings, and parties by Romans to bring the love from Venus.
This is why it’s very common for red and white roses to be used in weddings, where brides carry roses or place them in their hair to bring love to their new marriages. Often their guests throw rose petals on the new couple, to shower love on their new union.
